Things Lost & Left Behind

When you slow down and really take in your surroundings when out ‘Drifting’ and photographing, it’s fascinating to notice the things that people have lost or left behind

They take up a space in the environment for a period of time, changing their surroundings until someone removes them or comes back for them

The two items I’m come across most in my walks around London are clothes and children’s toys

Two of my favourite finds have been these crutches left behind as though something had been lurking in the bin and grabbed the owner and the duffel coat which looked like the owner had been sucked out of it
