Psychogeography -‘Lost’ Urban Spaces

Been exploring some of the ‘Lost’ urban spaces in my environment recently. These are the places that seem a bit lost and unused; spaces that people in authority don’t really seem to know what to do with them

They’re an afterthought following on from something else that was built there like the flyover underpasses that seem so common in parts of London

These photos are from an underpass near me which goes through a cycle of being left to the graffiti artists, rough sleepers and stinking of stale urine, uneaten food and full of empty cans of super strength lager until the Local Authority have a purge and try to clean the place up (it’s recently been through it’s cleaning phase)

I plan to visit it once a month to document the changes as it slowly cycles round into more graffiti, rubbish and people moving back into it
