This quote from Shoma Morita has become my go to mantra over the past few years. No matter how much I’m caught up in the feeling of my thinking, how anxious, worried, angry or discontent with life I feel the one thing I can control and do is to keep taking photographs
I know that if I go out for a ‘One Camera One Lens’ street photography session, at some point my thoughts will quiet down, my mood will change and I’ll get back into living in the present moment. For me it’s become all about what I do not how I feel; this for me is one of the foundations of mindful photography
