Finding a style in street photography

The latest video from photographer Sean Tucker really struck a chord with me over the weekend as it’s a subject I’ve been giving a lot of thought to myself recently; you can find the video here:

I’ve been experimenting with different subjects and styles for a while and plan to start developing it more over the coming months; the two areas of interest at the moment are capturing quiet moments involving people around London and people at night

Here’s some examples of the types of images I’m becoming more drawn to capturing and plan to develop:

  1. I’d also just watched his video this morning and everything he said resonated with me. My evolution has been to a minimalist style just placing one or two people in the urban environment. Apart from street parades I don’t like getting in people’s faces. Sean Tucker is such a wonderful communicator and during the last week I’ve really enjoyed listening to his life story on podcasts such as The Candid frame.
